Can you permanently remove Windows Defender from Windows 10/11?

Since Microsoft Defender is built into Windows, taking Windows Defender out is not a good idea. You can stop it from happening by changing its settings in Group Policy or Registry. An antivirus program installed from a third-party developer might turn off Windows Defender without any action on your part.
